God, I wish I'd written this. I love the melody and the way you hold on to those notes, it really soars and glides in all the right unexpected places. The way you've recorded the guitar really makes it sparkle too. There's quite a deep emotional undertow to this, isn't there. It's beautiful and I love it.

I remember hearing this before! Did you put it up again? I wonder why I never commented on this one. Hmm.
'Wake up, sweet girl' I especially love these parts. Gives you a nice peaceful feeling. I like the strumming in this song too! Like the one where you drag the pick across. I know it has a name - but I don't know what it is Fantastic song, Clarke!

I especially dig the way you sing the "I can wait"... the way you carry out the "wait" thing is cool as hell.

Those airy chords remind me a bit of Bowie's "For Hermoine" (but not too much). This one has sort of a sculpted quality to it, as though a lot of care and thought has gone into crafting it, with a little bit of rough edge left intact... and that quality keeps the sincerity up front.
This is a great one for a quiet, warm, peaceful evening.
