really cool dynamics on the piano, those loud hammering hits are really powerful.
nice passing tones in the melody, they have a slight dissonance with the piano, so it's impressive you found those through such a quick improvisation.

You convey such emotion with this track...and you do so by your outstanding performance both with the vocals and the piano - I greatly admire the expression you put into your performances - that kind of thing really sorts the men out from the boys! You know your stuff and it shines through. Beautiful track

I bet Ally's very honoured to be the inspiration of this song This is soo wonderful! The piano performance is (as always ) very emotional and played from deep in the heart And all that feeling you manage to put in your voice

Another good song. The vocal melodies in this one are particularly pretty. I think the reverb on the vocals is a bit heavy, but it does have a nice sense of space. There's some kind of high-pitched hiss or something in the vocals at times that's a little distracting.
Another thing I really like about this song is the sense of dynamics. I really feel dynamics are something of a lost art, and the way this song rises and falls is fantastic. Good work!

This is unbelievable man. I love these lyrics. And the mellow sadness is palpable, I'm sort of getting ripped apart. Fantastic vocals. And WOW, that little lilting move into your sort of falsetto is breathtaking.

This is brilliant.

Kewl..... Very good…….. A very nice voice. Really a kewl tune, piano arrangement is really good, there are a couple notes in the vocal melody I would change. However seeing how fast you composed, arranged and recorded this - it is understandable the recording would not be spotless as something you had worked on over and over. I’m a big fan and this reaffirms my belief in the power of spontaneity and capturing the moment.
An Excellent Composition, Well Done

A very intimate moment; the kind of atmosphere that is rarely captured in recording, and yes this would allow a live set to really breathe.
